About HTTTC Kumba
The Higher Technical Teachers’ Training College (HTTTC) of the University of Buea in Kumba is a Tertiary and industrial Institution in Cameroon hosting various Departments like Administrative Techniques, Agriculture, Civil Engineering and Forestry Techniques, Computer Science, Electrical and Power Engineering, Guidance Counselling, Law, Management Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Science of Education, Social Economy and Family Management, Topography and Real Estate Management, and Tourism and Hospitality Management. These departments offer a wide range of specialties ranging from Advanced Secrétariat Studies, Industrial Computing, Animal and Crop Production, Extension Agriculture, Tourism and Hotel Management, Electronics, Électrotechniques, Automobile Engineering, Home Economics, Fashion Clothing, Wood work, Civil Engineering, Accountancy, Project Management, Banking and Finance amongst others. Based on it’s wide range of Departments and Programs offered, HTTTC Kumba stands today as one of the largest Technical Colleges in the country with 14 Departments and over 42 programs. The school also has scientific Review, the Journal of Tertiary and industrial Sciences, JTIS, which is a multidisciplinary online blind peer review open access journal which contributes to decision making and sustainable development by publishing outstanding and original theoretical and empirical papers. Objectives of the Conference
The main objective of this conference is to bring together science, technology and engineering experts in the fields of tertiary and industrial sciences, to show case advances in the production and consumption of local goods and services. These advances will help stimulate interest in students and other stakeholders, who may take up research and/or entrepreneurial engagements in these areas for local economic growth and development. This will eventually curb importation of goods and services, as well as reduce human capital flight.
